Love should not hurt by: IJS

It’s a damn shame how we choose jacked up relationships and then expect sympathy when things don’t work out. This is mainly for my ladies but some men fall victim to this also but I just have to voice my opinion on this “epidemic” of toxic relationships we are entertaining in today’s society.

I base my opinion solely on circumstances that I have read or watched on TV so I plan to keep this brief and blunt. Ladies you have to realize that the majority of men that are in clubs aren’t looking for relationships, they are mainly looking for a “good time” girl with no strings attached. A ball player, an entertainer or

whomever,  has his picks and if you are not the high school sweet heart nine times out of ten you are sharing .Oh and the BIGGIE the number one no , no, (married men )! What are you thinking?

Seriously I’m not trying to step on anyone toes I have also made the mistake of thinking “HE CAN CHANGE”, no sweeties only if he wants to. You met in the club now you are in a relationship and he still wants to be in the club, did you really expect it to stop! You started  dating someone in the “lime Life” and expect everything to stop, negative, seriously you were somewhat a groupie and not the only one out there, yes you are pretty,  but unfortunately when God made one pretty girl he did not stop he kept making them. You thought you were just going to play around with someone else’s man with no strings attached but later ended up developing feelings. Now you are in love and he is still with the one you thought he would eventually leave. What makes you think he trusts you after the behavior of “I don’t care if he has somebody” attitude you have just displayed. There is absolutely no trust at that point.

Basically girls we get what we allow to happen. Pick your battles wisely, set your standards in the beginning that way both you and your partner are on the same page.  If you want to be taken seriously do not lower your standards, do not accept late night calls (booty calls), do not share, do not allow yourself to be mistreated for convenience. Remember LOVE should never hurt!
